Stone Arch Bridge at sunrise — The definitive Minneapolis engagement photo. Sunrise sounds brutal but it means empty cobblestones, still water and light that makes everything look like a film still. We bring the coffee.
North Loop — Warehouse brick, murals and moody alleys for couples who'd rather look like an editorial spread than a postcard. Pairs well with a first-date-spot stop if yours is in the neighborhood.
Lake of the Isles in the evening — Willow-lined shores and canoe docks with the skyline floating behind. Quietly romantic without trying too hard.
Classic St. Paul: architecture and old-world charm
Summit Avenue & the Cathedral — Victorian mansions, stone staircases and the Cathedral dome. Dress up for this one; it rewards formal.
Rice Park & Landmark Center — A European square in miniature. In December the holiday lights turn it into the Twin Cities' best winter engagement setting, no props needed.
Irvine Park — A hidden pocket of 1870s houses around a fountain square, two blocks from West 7th's restaurants. Rarely crowded, always lovely.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chanhassen — A thousand acres of curated gardens; peak lilac (May) and peak fall color (early October) are astonishing. Requires a photography permit, which we help arrange.
Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve, Savage — Golden-hour prairie for couples who want big sky and wind-in-the-hair movement in their photos.
Hidden Falls, St. Paul — River sandbars and cottonwood groves that photograph like a coastal town at dusk.

Can we bring our dog to an engagement session?
Please do. Most parks on this list are dog-friendly on leash. Bring a helper to wrangle between shots, and we'll get the three of you together early while everyone's fresh.
